Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday robot vacuum cleaner price Vacuum Deals

If you’ve always wanted to buy a robot vacuum now’s your chance. CNET’s top models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday with savings of up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping using app-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba J7+, IRobot’s most advanced robot to date is the Roomba j7+. Its most significant advancement is an obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to recognize objects like charging cords, shoes, and the pet waste that many other robots are unable to avoid (and often plough right through). It’s the first robot to send you images of objects that it encounters, meaning you can tell the robot to avoid it.

The Combo j7+ is also the best floor vacuum robot robot to mop we’ve ever tested, picking up dirt and spills with ease without leaving any trace that was there. It’s easy to control using the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule cleaning times and set up Keep Out Zones so that it doesn’t clean areas you don’t want it to. And it’s compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it by speaking to it.

The design is also more appealing than the competition. It has a sleek, top piece that looks like toys rather than an obnoxious and loud robot. Clean Base Automatic Dirt disposal It also self-empties which can cut down on cleaning time.

In our tests the j7+ performed quick to remove dust, dirt and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one location rather than sending it scattering all over the floor. It was able capture small gravel, sand and even a bit of grit. Most robots could not accomplish this feat. It did all of this without getting caught in our pet’s hair shedding.

Although it’s not as sophisticated as the $1,217 iRobot Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum, and it’s not able to clean stairs, the J7+ is an excellent option for those who need both mopping and a vac in their home. It’s not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.

While the iRobot Home app is very easy to use however we’ve found it be less reliable than other apps that utilize robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates, and it’s sometimes difficult to tell whether they’re working until you see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you’re looking to purchase an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, the best robot floor cleaner choice is probably a hybrid. These bots are equipped with a water tank, so they can vacuum and mop simultaneously. They also come with many additional features like smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they can be expensive at retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.

Roborock is the manufacturer of some of our favorite robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ doesn’t fail to impress. This is the least expensive model of their auto-empty line. Although it might not come with some of the premium features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories), it’s still a great choice for those who are willing to compromise to save a few dollars.

The Q5+ is notably soft around obstacles like table legs and walls and walls, which makes it a good choice for homes with lots of furniture. It’s also extremely thorough when it comes to cleaning dust bunnies, which is an area where many cheaper robot vacuums fail. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is superb too, with very little misses in corners and along walls.

The Q5+, like other Roborock products, can be controlled by only a few buttons on your device or through the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleaning. You can also set schedules, create virtual barrier and no-go areas and alter your home map, or change the room’s label.

If you choose to purchase the Q5+, it comes with a new auto-empty dock that’s specifically designed to make this machine easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once in place it can be accomplished easily. It also features a large LCD display that is great to have when setting up schedules or altering settings. This feature isn’t required for everyone, but it can help easily keep the robot floor cleaner‘s maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that’s astonishingly intelligent in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and functionality are among the top available however it’s expensive.

It is a relatively small base station that looks stunning and is able to be concealed when not in use. But the station’s biggest selling factor is its ability to automate many tasks and functions that most other robots will leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot charged and clean.

Its vacuuming is also impressive. It’s the only robot vacuum I’ve used that has done a good job picking up dirt from floors that aren’t. And it’s not as loud as the costly Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially when it comes navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren’t as reliable as other robot vacuums. This means it can get stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms in the home. It can’t climb stairs as well as some competitors, for instance, and it doesn’t have a dock that lets the user to set up a dedicated cleaning zone for plush carpets.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great choice for those who need a robot vacuum that does it all.

If you’re looking to cut costs or aren’t averse to the limitations of the robot, there are other options on the market. Many of the eufy models cost significantly less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance, is cheaper and offers a similar in-app experience with additional features such as stair climbing, a full-function dock, and better overall performance when vacuuming floors and low and high-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy is an Anker company that has a long history of creating robot vacuums that have the right combination of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning of hard floors and mopping, carpets and other surfaces at a price that is affordable. It’s easy to set up, just snap on one of the side brushes, turn it on and connect the charging dock. The app takes you through several steps to connect to your Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. The dock will need to be located near an outlet with enough space to move.

The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be precise, which means it will fit under many couches and other low-clearance furniture. Its design is more subtle in comparison to other models. It has a sleek black finish with three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral pattern over two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.

The way that the G30 cleans is what separates it from its competitors. It makes use of an integrated map to create an image of the unmovable items that are in its path. It keeps track of the items it has cleaned and what it is unable to access. If it requires a recharge, it returns to its base, and then resumes cleaning from where it began.

The eufy G30 isn’t without faults however. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower monthly costs. It charges faster, offers similar battery life and is more effective on bare flooring or carpet with a low pile. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn’t need to be empty as often and comes with a set of boundaries to restrict it from certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn’t require as frequent emptying and it struggles less with bulky materials such as cereal.
